The Ultimate Labor Saving Device

The 450 Pit Cleaner is our smallest model designed for the operator who wants to save time and money by doing it himself. The 40 cubic foot hydraulic dump box carries loads up to 4000 lbs. A dependable OHV 5.5 HP Briggs&Stratton engine drives the hydraulic pump which provides the power for all functions of the machine.
Easy to Operate The operator controls the entire loading process with three control levers. Two levers operate the two hydraulic booms while the third opens and closes the hydraulic clam bucket. A fourth lever controls the dumping box. All controls are positioned at the front where the operator can enjoy easy access from the towing vehicle and where the entire loading process can be easily observed. The hydraulic booms and bucket are lowered through the trailer frame into the pit. It digs to a maximum depth of 6 feet below the surface. The boom swings 36 inches from left to right for use in wide pits.
	Powerful Hydraulic Boom & Bucket The powerful hydraulic boom and bucket pick up the heaviest mud with ease. The 2" diameter cylinder which opens and closes the jaws of the clam bucket operates at up to 4700 pounds of pressure, while the 2.5" diameter cylinders which lift the hydraulic booms produce up to 7300 pounds of pressure.
Little Maintenance Required Little maintenance is required since the machine has few moving parts. Necessary maintenance chores include: A periodic greasing of the pivot points on the boom with a grease gun. Changing oil in the engine as instructed in the engine owners manual. E-Z Lube Spindles. The hydraulic cylinders on the machine carry a four year pro-rated warranty. The engine service is available in any small engine shop.

Optional Lid Available Lid covers the entire box to prevent spill-over onto streets and highways. The lid is hinged at the center of the box so it can be folded open for loading. It is fastened and closed with tarp straps for protection while hauling.
